Fiona Humphrey has won the Printmaking Today Editorial Prize in the Royal Birmingham Society Print Prize exhibition.  The judges awarded the prize for Fiona's whole submission of two linocuts, 'At Shadow's Rest', and 'In Shadow's Company'.

“I am delighted to have been awarded a prize in the RBSA biennial print exhibition amongst such a wonderful range of work," says Fiona, "and I'm excited that it should be the Printmaking Today Editorial Prize.”

The RBSA Print prize exhibition is held every other year. It attracted a UK-wide entry of some 240 works, of which only about a quarter were selected for this exhibition. The judges were Mychael Barratt, an elected member and the immediate past President of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (the RE) and Leonie Bradley, the Editor of Printmaking Today and an elected member of the Society of Wood engravers.

Both have won a number of prestigious awards for their printmaking.
