Lesley Brooks

These paintings are about creating a sense of time and place. I enjoy experimenting with the arrangement of visual elements. I also enjoy using art materials; discovering the different qualities of each medium and allowing those properties to enrich the imagery.

I have returned to painting on canvas; working on different supports presents further challenges and can, with trial and error, reveal new visual delights!
